Lo trovate subito dopo il salto!

A few more pieces for my entry to this contest: a tray, little plates and, of course, french fries!
Because, what is a burger without french fries? (What can I say, I'm deep.)
Bonus: super-easy DIY tutorial to make your own miniature french fries - in just 6 steps
Find it right after the jump!

Mix approx. 1/10 parts of yellow clay to 9/10 parts of white clay to get a very light yellow color. Roll out the clay into a flat strip, approx. 1mm thick.

Lay the clay onto sandpaper, then texture the upper part with a mascara brush (or toothbrush).

Color the edges of the strip with yellow chalk.

Ricavare dalla striscia tanti bastoncini.
Slice the clay into tiny sticks.

Color the back and sides of the sticks with yellow chalk. Fun tip: for a more realistic look, press the brush against the center of part of the fries. This will cause them to curl slightly.
Bake your french fries for the recommended time and you're done!

Optional step: mix a few drops of transparent glaze (I use the one from Eberhard Faber) with water. Using old tweezers, dip each french frie in the glaze, then heat it with a heat gun (the heat gun speeds up the drying process). This way, your french fries will look like they're actually soaked in oil!
